LMI Insurance Agency was formed on June 4th, 1998 as a multi-line Independent Insurance Agency specializing in the alternative insurance marketplace, particularly with niche market programs to include personal and commercial insurance. The staff of the organization?s experience is in direct writing as well as large property casualty agency ownership including extensive legal background.
Our staff is organized with a focus on their specific areas of insurance specialty. This allows our customers the capabilities to call upon each individual to provide a complete insurance overview for the client.
The Agency is licensed to operate in the Tri-state area of Illinois, Iowa, and Missouri. The Agency is also able to place business nationwide via other brokerage agreements.
In an effort to continue to permanently establish the Agency?s roots within the local community and history of Quincy Illinois, LMI Insurance Agency engaged in an extensive renovation project of the Albert and Amalie Evers House, a National Historic Landmark home.
With renovations completed and approved by the National Historic Preservation Society of Washington D.C. in July of 2003 the Agencies permanent home office is now located in the Albert and Amalie Evers House. Circa 1891.
With this project being completed it allows the Agency the ability to expand and grow with the fast pace of technology nationwide, as well as provide personalization to the hard working, loyal, customer base of Quincy Illinois, and the local area.
